Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.91) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux I've got a strong enough computer to handle dvd-burning and some other tasks without interrupting the burning process, and it would be grat to be able to make the next compilation while the dvd's burning. The modality of the burning window prevents that, however. My proposal is: - you disable the burn buttons on all tabs while the burning window is active if only one burner present. - if there are two you make two burning windows possible (therefore only disabling burning buttons if two burning windows are open) - and so forth for more than two burners. - while you disable the burn buttons, you keep all other buttons intact, making further compilation in the meantime possible. This is quite a quick fix, I think, and it would greatly reduce the time and interruption of work that burning another cd causes. Can we expect that kind of thing to happen in the near future?
It is on my todo list (but that list is big! ;)

Hello, +1 here - is there any chance of getting a non-blocking burn window into 1.0? I see this req has been open since 2005 :( thanks
no, it won't make it into 1.0. The internal changes are too big.
