Description Larry Luther 2005-10-21 01:11:15 UTC
Version: 3.4.2 Level "b" SUSE 10.0 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

While browsing SMB shares I was presented with an "Authorization Dialog".
Entering "DOLBYNET/lzl" instead of "DOLBYNET\lzl" for the "Username" caused
an "Internal Error": "Unknown error condition in stat: Connection timed out".

Bug confirmed on both 3.5.9 and KDE 4 trunk (revision 805680).

Is this a konqueror bug or a KIO one?

"DOLBYNET\lzl" is a windows domain/user string, and Windows expects it to look just like that.
