Kopete crashes when there is a discussion dialog open and the other person starts typing. If there is no dialog for chat opened (with the person sending the message), kopete receives the message  without any problems and is able to show it. It crashes from version 3.4.2, so I'm still running old 3.4.1 which doesn't crash and from time to time test a new version :) My OS is Gentoo on x86 32bit (march=athlon-xp).

I tried (after searching on google) to reemerge kopete without -O3 and behavior is the same. I also tried to remove ~/.kde/share/config/kopete* and ~/.kde/apps/kopete/*, it also did not help.
