Description Valentin MISSIER 2005-10-13 19:13:54 UTC
Version: 1.7.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Debian stable PackagesDebian stable Packages
OS:                Linux

Hi,

I run debian stable and I use kmail.
$ kmail --version
Qt: 3.3.4
KDE: 3.3.2
KMail: 1.7.2

My problem is that when I send a pdf file (regarless of the encoding used)
with kmail, the file sent always gets corrupted. The file sent is then
readable with xpdf but NOT acroread. This is due linefeed/breaks being
removed by kmail.
This should not happen as the mime type is pdf.
It seems the pdf file is treated as a dos text file (event if mime type is set to app/octet stream).
