A grave one: Using latest stable version 8.15.1 of ghostscript kghostview does not render ps-files anymore. Running in console I can see:
kghostview (kdegraphics): KGVMiniWidget::showPage( 4 )
kghostview (kdegraphics): KGVMiniWidget::pageMedia( 4 )
kghostview (kdegraphics): ThumbnailService::delayedGetThumbnail: request for page 4
kghostview (kdegraphics): KPSWidget: received DONE
kghostview (kdegraphics): KPSWidget::stopInterpreter()
kghostview (kdegraphics): KPSWidget::gs_input
kghostview (kdegraphics): KPSWidget::gs_input(): process != _process
kghostview (kdegraphics): KPSWidget: process exited

Using the configured gs commands like
gs -sDEVICE=x11 
standalone in a console works without problems.

I also can not see any thumbnail
