Version: 1.3.2 (using KDE 3.4.1, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 20041125 (Gentoo 3.4.3-r1, ssp-3.4.3-0, pie-8.7.7) OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.12-gentoo-r4 When using dynamic mode the following sequence can occur: 1. User manually adds another track to the playlist (either queued or just added to the end) 2. Current song ends 3. One history track is automatically deleted 4. One new track is automatically appended (despite the fact that there are already the required number of upcoming tracks in the list). The dynamic playlist loader should check that the number of tracks in the list is less than the 'upcoming tracks' setting before adding any tracks.
The functionality is the 'minimum upcoming tracks to show'. Text used to be this, but it was too long. Take a look at the tooltip.
Well maybe this bug should be "No way to limit songs in dynamic playlist" If you do add extra songs, the only way to reduce the playlist size is to hit Repopulate. Why have a minimum and no maximum? I think we should either have both or have the exact length.
maybe this bug could be changed to the suggested "No way to limit songs in dynamic playlist" and reopened as a wish ?
