Description Andreas Beckermann 2005-09-23 22:54:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When a unit gets destroyed it is hard to recognize whether it actually got destroyed, or whether the explosion just comes from a missile or from a unit nearby, as the unit remains on the map.

It's even worse when there are many units (e.g. in a big battle) - then you have lots of living units and lots of destroyed units and no idea which unit is alive and which is not.
Instead of only coloring the unit to indicate a wreckage, we should use a real wreckage model or something else that looks different than the real model.
In an ideal world we could even create such a model automatically from the unit model, e.g. by using a different texture or so.

Unfortunately, Boson is no longer maintained.

we're closing out all the boson bugs in Bugzilla since there is no chance of them being fixed.
