Version: 0.11.92 (using KDE KDE 3.4.90) Installed from: Gentoo Packages this bug is in 3.5 beta1 too! If I press ctrl-alt-L my screensaver starts. Kopete switches to away status, but after a few seconds, it switches automatically back to online, but screensaver is still active and no user inputs were done. It looks like this in an open dialog window: (14:16:25) # You are now marked as Away. (14:16:31) # You are now marked as Online. (15:51:16) # You are now marked as Away. (15:51:23) # You are now marked as Online. this bug is present since kde 3.4.2.
I cannot reproduce that here.
Hi! I think this bug can be handled as duplicated of http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103063 Cause when I disable the option "Become awailable when interactivity..." it works. So IMHO the bug is, that kopete gets any events which tell it, that the user is present, even if screensaver is running and no user is working on the machine. In this case, there will never be e.g. 10 minutes of inactivity and so auto away wouldn't work. Maybe another app send such events!?

i actually think this is a duplicate of another bug since auto away is broken in AIM and ICQ rather than working and then setting the user not away
This is actually a dupe of 92949. :) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 92949 ***
