Description Jon Burgess 2005-09-11 17:48:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

Trying to open http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/Research/SRG/netos/pdb/papers/2003.cabernet.pdf
results in kpdf memory usage going to > 1GB at which point I killed the process.

kghostview opens the file OK.
xpdf pegs the cpu to 100%, but memory usage doesn't rise.

I tried to open the file with kpdf-0.5 / kde-3.4.91 and there is no memory leak any more but the cpu is pegged at 100% and the page is never displayed.

Adobe acroread opens the same file in about 1 second.
