Version: 3.4.2 Level "a" (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "a" , SUSE 9.3 UNSUPPORTED) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.9-default On a search some topics return the following: -------------------------------------------- Top-Level Documentation Release Notes Htdig error: Unable to read configuration file -------------------------------------------- I then try to build a search index, but on trying to index several of the help sources, I see something like the following. It says it "Finished successfully", but the index has not been built. On the sources that can't be indexed, htdig seems to find my swat server in addition to localhost:80 (see below). I've got the same error message on SuSE 9.3. Indexing help seams to not working out of the box at least on SuSE. Moreover, no reasonable error message is visible so even power user wont be able to fix the reason (typically KHelpCenter is not started from command line).
