Description Michael Williamson 2005-09-08 23:58:04 UTC
Version: 1.8.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: GCC 3.4.4
OS: Linux

I have KMail set up with a cached IMAP server and it will synchronize every 15 minutes. If I create a new folder, then it will create the folder when it synchronizes. The problem is that it shows a dialog when creating a new folder asking what to store in this folder; messages or sub-folders. This dialog does not appear until KMail synchronizes, and it doesn't say the name of the folder that is being created.

I think the following changes should be made:
1. The dialog should say the name of the folder.
2. The dialog should be shown when the folder is created, and the response should be remembered until synchronization occurs.

Thanks.

Part 1) is already implemented for 3.5.
Part 2) is probably a good idea but definitely a wish and no bug.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
