Description Gábor Nagy 2005-09-08 16:06:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

I would like to access ftp servers using konqueror.

I have a squid proxy server configured.

When I connect to an ftp server with proxy disabled, I can download, upload.
When I enable the proxy, upload does not work anymore.

According to the squid mailing list, it should be easy to use put through the
proxy, see http://www.squid-cache.org/mail-archive/squid-dev/199908/0033.html

Cheers,
Gabor

Wrong ioslave. If proxy is in use, then it's actually http, not ftp.

Is this still a problem today with KF5 versions of KIO and Dolphin (Konqueror is deprecated)?
