Description Chris 2005-08-25 11:54:59 UTC
Version: 0.10.3 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: GCC 3.4.4
OS: Linux

When sending a file with Kopete (over any protocol), there is no indication of the transfer after selecting the file until the recipient accepts. This can cause problems when a firewall blocks the transfer request (or the request is otherwise not properly received) as it leaves no indication that there is a transfer being attempted, nor anyway to stop/cancel the transfer. This could potentially be leaving zombie threads (hence the "bug" classification), unless they time out after a given amount of time.. but it would be nice to have indications of such.
