Description Vivien Mallet 2005-08-24 00:35:57 UTC
Version: 1.8.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Create a new message, type several continuous (no return) lines in it. Save it in drafts. Then, open it again: the continuous lines are now broken (I assume at column 78 or so). If you type words in the first line, you will get "orphan words" the following line.

As a consequence, I use emacs to save my drafts...

seen here too (KMail 1.9.1 on Debian/testing).
Comment 2 Vivien Mallet 2006-09-10 13:32:58 UTC
I confirm this is still true in KMail 1.9.x (here, 1.9.3 from Etch).
Comment 3 Vivien Mallet 2007-10-20 09:39:15 UTC
The problem is still there in KMail 1.9.6 (enterprise), in KDE 3.5.8 coming with Kubuntu Gutsy (7.10). :-(
Comment 4 Vivien Mallet 2009-01-31 12:41:35 UTC
Still an issue in KMail 1.11.0 (KDE 4.2.0, Kubuntu 8.10).
