Version: 1.12 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.8-default I preferred the previous behaviour. But I understand the incentive for the change. Could this behaviour be configurable: auto overwrite, offer choices in pop-up, auto skip, auto change name to prevent clash. I have added my own encoder (a virtual copy of oggenc encoder but it uses a script that uses sox to change the volume). So I know that I already have an encoding but I wish to make a new one of a different volume.
This looks like a good option for configuration, i'll add it for the 3.6 or kde4 release.
