Description Uri Sharf 2005-08-19 19:47:09 UTC
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
OS: Linux

Seems like KWord demands you should re-export the document, event when you are editing an existing HTML file previously created with KWord. Not only that, it's a "Save as..." type of save, and you get a warning about overwriting the file you are actually editing. This makes working with HTML document very un-productive.

Realized that if I leave the default, XHTML+CSS, it doesn't not "Save as...", but still the export dialog is not needed for a simple "Save"

Each filter is independant in KOffice, so the export filter does not know what the import filter has done.

There was code made to try to start to communicate better between the applications an dits filter, but the code was never committed, as far as I know.

Have a nice day!
