Description Marcin Orlowski 2005-08-19 00:34:11 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.4.1, Debian Package 4:3.4.1-1 (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-5)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.10

Whenever I launch kmail and open its composition window or click "Create new mail" from within Summary and then close main kontact window, kmail gets killed, taking my unfinished mail awya instantly, with no warning nor option to save it as draft. Kmail does not behave that way when you try to terminate it, so this behaviour is definitely unexpected

Confirmed. kde 3.5.5/kontact 1.2.3 Kubuntu 6.10/edgy

Creating an email using the New Message from the summary plugin and subsequently quitting kontact did not display a prompt asking if I wanted to save changes/save as draft

Update. Actually, it looks like the composer window is restored when Kontact is restarted.

However, some indication should be given to the user

Confirmed (3.5.5/SUSE 10.1)
