Description Richard Fujimoto 2005-08-12 21:06:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8)

OS: Linux

Konqueror crashes upon visiting www.nfl.com

Plugins I have installed:
libflashplayer
nppdf

I visited using firefox and it apparently requests realplayer. Konqueror is configured with kaffeine which is able to play *.rm files. Is this where the problem lies?

Here's the backtrace.

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
`system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols.
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]

Comment 1 Thiago Macieira 2005-08-13 05:16:34 UTC
No crash here, but I don't have libflashplayer nor a handler for *.rm.

I tested on Konqueror 3.5 r440440.

Can you test KDE 3.5 alpha 1?
Comment 2 Dennis 2005-08-14 21:21:39 UTC
I tested the site on Konqueror 3.4.90 (Using KDE 3.4.90 (alpha1, >= 20050806)), and everything works fine for me. I can watch the *.rm file, etc. The only difference in my system might be that I use Real Media Player instead of kaffeine.
Comment 3 Thiago Macieira 2005-08-15 01:12:10 UTC
Kaffeine is known to cause problems. Reopen if you can reproduce the bug when kaffeine is not installed.
Comment 4 Richard Fujimoto 2005-08-15 04:37:02 UTC
Sorry, I was hoping to wait until kde-3.5 alpha packages were made since I didn't feel like learning how to do all that stuff myself.

Okay, uninstalled kaffeine and the problem disappears. I should've done that to begin with. Sorry for wasting everyone's time.
