Description Stefano 2005-08-12 13:31:05 UTC
Version: Ark 2.5.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Ark copies files into ~/.kde/kde-temp to extract them, and this behavior is plain wrong: it suffices to think about large archives like 10Gb, and frankly(it could be my ignorance though) I don't see the reason for this.

If this behavior can't be changed, at least it should be used the same working directory for temporary files, since often there's enough space in the storage partitions rather than in the system ones (like /tmp).
