The 'Show Extension Bar' submenu of the 'Settings' menu of Kaddressbook is empty; hence I cannot edit my distribution lists.

This doesn't always happen. From the few tests I've done, it seems to be empty if I start kontact without Internet access, and non-empty if I start kontact with Internet access.

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
