Description Erik Parmann 2005-08-06 18:40:03 UTC
Version: SVN 06 august 2005 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

Do this:
Load a couple of songs in your playlist. Start play one of the songs, and let it play a while (how long is not important). Then Pause it, and double click on one of the other songs (so it starts play the other song). Then what happends here, is that the score of the "old" track (the one paused) is not decreased and the playcount is not increased.

Using SVN from 06 august 2005.

hey actually that sounds quite useful!

I agree with bubblboy. I don't like how if I change the track for a reason which has absolutely nothing to do with me not liking the current track, the current track's score gets decreased. Obviously I don't expect AmaroK to be telepathic and determine what my reason for changing tracks is, the pausing method is a reasonably nice way of being able to change the track without giving the impression that you dislike the current song.

I agree with #2 and #3. It sounds like a nice hidden feature :-)

actually we have a dcop call to disable scoring temporarily, but in this cause playcount is not updated, too.
should it be left as is - no updates at all - or should playcount be updated & score not ?
