Description Meghazi Fabien 2005-08-05 22:48:14 UTC
Version: 1.12 (using KDE 3.4.1, Kubuntu Package 4:3.4.1-0ubuntu0hoary1 ())
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8ubuntu2)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-5-686

It would be cool if it was possible to play tracks in the "CD Tracks" tab before ripping.

Eg: I've got a CD of a jam session made with friends and I want to name the tracks before ripping but I have to hear the track before giving it a name. If it was possible to hear tracks in kaudiocreator, it would avoid to open an external app to play the track.

Another Example: Selectively ripping tracks based on listening to them, rather than knowing the name, or being able to read a foreign language.

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kaudiocreator

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
