Version: 3.4.1 (using KDE 3.4.1, Debian Package 4:3.4.1-1 (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-5) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.10 Some PIMs offers neat helper feature - option which helps you find xxx minutes for a meeting. Assumig you got quite loaded calendar for each day, scheduling new meeting by hand may take too much time. Now knowing your working hours and current calendar entries we could ask Korganizer to find neares free minutes in given date range.
Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list.
Do you mean that you set the duration of the new event, and automatically korganizer move it on the first free space (according to start/end working time) ?
Yes. Or gives you list of possible dates/hours for such meeting. Pretty handy feature
Does the free/busy scheduling feature in modern KOrganizer (5.14) satisfy this wish?
