Version:           3.4.1 (using KDE 3.4.1, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.4 [FreeBSD] 20050518
OS:                FreeBSD (i386) release 7.0-CURRENT

I use the gg: shortcut a lot.  Currently with my language set to en_GB it uses google.co.uk.  I would rather have the more featureful google.com used.  Therefore, I went to the web shortcut config section and changed the Search URI.  I pressed Ok and Apply.  The URI is not changed at all, not in the configuration dialogue or in use.
