Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Installed from: FreeBSD Ports OS: FreeBSD Hi, I'd like to suggest a change to the way the CD Editor window works - currently I find it very clumsy to use because the only way to make a field editable or shift to the next field is by using the mouse to double click on the field you want to edit. This means you constantly have to switch from mouse to keyboard. This is a fairly recent thing - I think since support for the comment field was added? Anyway, I'd like to see the old system return - one click to make the first field editable, then a <TAB> to shift to the next field or <ENTER> to shift to the next row (so if you don't use the Comments field, you can type a title, press enter & type the next title etc). Other than that, I think kaudiocreator is excellent!
A spreadsheet-like text input style would be useful. This would allow tabbing or cursoring between fields. It would also allow you to type one artist in at the top and then drag-copy it by the corner to the remaining fields. It would also allow you to select a range of tracks and move them up or down. (Have you ever manually entered in CD info only to find that you missed out track 7, and tracks 8-13 are now in the wrong box? This is very annoying!)
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
This project is unfortunately no longer maintained. If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here: https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kaudiocreator You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived. Sorry for the inconveniences.
