Description Cosmo Freund Lee 2005-07-22 08:20:17 UTC
Version: 3.4 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

I would like to be able to set the To-Do list and the Calendar to have different views of To-Do Items.

Example:

I've set up a filter to "Hide Inactive To-dos". This causes the non-current To-Dos to disappear from both the To-Do and the Calendar. But while I don't want an inactive To-Do to show up on the To-Do list, I would still like to be able to see it on the Calendar so that I can get an overview of Tasks that lay ahead.

I know that I can do this by switching back to a Filter that shows inactive To-Dos, but this is cumbersome, and I have to look at too many To-Do entries in the To-Do list.

What I would prefer is to be able to set the To-Do list to filter one way and set the Calendar to filter another way. If this were possible, I'd get what I desire by setting the To-Do filter to "Hide inactive To-Dos", and set the Calendar to "Show inactive To-Dos".

This way, in one glance, I can see what I should to be doing NOW by looking at the To-Do lists, and at the same time I can see what tasks are ahead of me by looking at the Calandar.

Thanks for listening....
