Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Hi, This is an idea I had for korganizer. Sometimes, the weather can make a difference on when you plan to organise an activity. For example, if you want a BBQ and want to invite people, you would pick a day when it is going to be sunny so you wouldn't have to cancel it. A nice feature would be if korganizer could help you check the weather forecast by integrating with a weather forecast program. For example, when you switch to the month view, the weather for the current day would be shown with a little icon (e.g. sun/rain/clouds) at the bottom of today's box with the temperature. The forecast for the next day would then be shown in the next box, and the day after that in the next etc. for perhaps the next 7 days or however long the weather has been predicted for. This allows you to easily see what events you have planned in the future and what the weather is likely to be on that day. This would also help you for planning future events by, for example, avoiding days where it is likely to rain. Obviously, you can go to weather websites to find all this out manually, but integration makes a users task easier. OK, it's not the most useful feature in the world but it would look pretty cool in my opinion. :-) Thanks for reading.

Created attachment 20881 [details] Calendar with weather I made a quick mock-up of this idea. Several days have both the predicted weather for that day and night. This could be improved with the proper moon phases and perhaps an overlay of the predicted temperature.
This really would be a nice feature. There are also web sites which provide weather for every 3 hours (like wetter.com) for the coming days (might be usable for the day view or week view) and there are also rough estimations for the next 16 days. Will it be added for kOrganizer 4?
