Description haibach 2005-07-16 12:20:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.5
OS: Linux

Currently viewing the source code of a message simply displays the message inside a simple viewer. This viewer doesn't provide any text search, save as or edit functionality.

It would be really useful to be able to define an editor (viewer) for the source code in the kmail options, like kwrite, kedit, quanta or whatever. The source code should be opened in this programm by default then.

I add to the previous text that it will be a good opportunity to offer the possibility to edit any messages and not only in the draft folder ('T' key).

It is interesting to modify the "too short" subject for example.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
