Description Roman Fordinal 2005-07-16 10:04:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When downloading in disconnected IMAP is interrupted, some emails are corrupted -> without any header and body. Kmail shows only "No Subject" instead them.

I am having this issue in KDE4.3.0rc3... :(

My account is a GMAIL account with about 850MB of mail, which KMail downloads all of the mail perfectly on all the folders (albeit it took 18 hours) except for the inbox, which, even after rebuilding the index and refreshing the cache, still does not find the emails correctly.

Opening up one of the raw maildir files in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/dimap/.1524493730.directory/INBOX/cur/124905

Works for me in KDE 4.3. Please complain if you still have this issue.

Complain! I've been having this issue since the entire 4.3 branch, and have no idea how to test/debug anything out of it.

I've set up an offlineimap+dovecot on my netbook for disconnected imap, but would love to have it integrated in kmail instead of this hacky way I have set up

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
