For an example go  to http://www.digitallyimported.com/.

Essentially they have a javascript menu which drops down tables as entries.  They also have a Google Ad beneath the menu.  Whenever the ad and the menu overlap, the ad appears on top. If you experiment with the other ads, however, they all appear below.
