Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package OS: Linux When downloading a file through HTTP via the http kioslave, the progress dialog *always* reports that the transmission is 100 percent complete, and that "$bytes_downloaded of $bytes_downloaded" have been downloaded. This happens in Konqueror and KWrite, does not occur in any FTP transaction, always occurs for HTTP transactions, and occurs regardless of the presence of the Content-Length field in the HTTP header. How to reporduce: 1. Find a file (doesn't matter what type, as long as it's on an HTTP server) that is large enough to take a reasonable amount of time on your connection. (350 KB is plenty for dial-up.) 2. Copy it to a local directory or open it in a KDE application (barring Konqueror, if it's HTML). 3. The progress dialog should provide the erroneous report. BTW, I'm using (K)Ubuntu 5.04's packages, if that's any help.
