I think it is a problem with the password manager, because the problem occurs since last week I cancelled the option of opening an already opened wallet (kwalletmanager), then I must give manually the password of the pop account to kmail when it checks for new mail, but I am not sure. Same Problem but only when Kmail runs within Kontact.
