Description Gábor Lehel 2005-06-30 00:08:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

I have: a 17" monitor at 1024x768 and a standard TV at 640x480. Over the fast few weeks, I have had configurations where only the former were connected and in xorg.conf, only the latter, as well as both.
Recently I've been using only the 17" monitor, and been annoyed by the fact that every single time KDE starts, it sets the resolution to 640x480, completely irregardless of what I set in the control center (including whether or not to remember the settings). It turns out there were settings for both screen0 and screen1 in the rc file; the former was set to whatever I configured, but the latter was 640x480. Since I only have one screen, I can only assume that it was applying the settings for both of them to it.
Somewhere therein lieth a bug.

I think this is a duplicate of #166620 http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166620

Judging by the date, this is KDE 3 material. So I'm going to mark it as unmaintained, unless the reporter wants to correct me.
