Description Roman Fietze 2005-06-29 21:50:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When selecting attendees in the event editor via "select addressee", and I have a person in my addressbook with two mail addresses, this person shows up more than once. This is fine.

But now, no matter what "instance", or better what mail address of this person, I select, korganizer always comes up with the preferred mail address.
Comment 1 Roman Fietze 2005-12-08 11:49:15 UTC
Looks good in 3.5.0.
Comment 2 Roman Fietze 2005-12-15 13:12:42 UTC
Korganizer now displays multiple adresses of a person, but when clicking on either adresses, korganizer still always only inserts the preferred address into the invitaion list.
Comment 3 Roman Fietze 2006-03-31 14:33:05 UTC
Still true in 3.5.2
Comment 4 Allen Winter 2006-09-13 01:02:30 UTC
Roman,

I'm unable to duplicate this problem with the KOrganizer from KDE 3.5.4.
Is this still a problem for you?
Comment 5 Roman Fietze 2006-09-26 20:55:23 UTC
The problem differs depending on the circumstances. This is with korganizer 3.5.3 which comes with the SUSE 10.1 updates for 3.5.4.

I've attached five files:

before.png: the korganizer address selection before adding Lieschen, Lieschen is in the category "Friend"

before-no-category.png: the same as above, but now Lieschen is not categorized in the contacts

after.png: after selecting all three instances or mail addresses of Lieschen in the first case where Lieschen is categorized

kmail.png: Lieschen in the kmail address selection, here it works

Lieschen_Müller.vcf: Lieschen's VCF, exported from kontact to VCF V3

korganizer-devel mailing list.
Comment 13 Christophe Marin 2008-11-17 16:55:39 UTC
Regression in KDE 4.1 : Is it no longer possible to select an attendee address when several are defined.
Comment 14 Roman Fietze 2009-10-19 11:14:43 UTC
As of 4.3.2 the method on how to select attendees has changed, and I've finally changed KDE versions. So it works for me.
