Description Jason Keirstead 2005-06-29 15:45:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Often, people send a pointless "for fun" email, that devolves into a huge email thread that goes on for hours, clogging my inbox.

I would like an option so that, if I move a message to the trash, any further messages that come in descending from that message (as in, the same thread), would also automatically be moved to trash. Maybe this could be called 'Move thread to trash' or something.

This is not really a task that can be done with filters, since it needs to be dynamic such that only messages that are currently in the trash should be considered when checking incoming emails.

Maybe add an option to Message -> Ignore Thread to move the messages to trash instead of marking them as read?

Yes, that would be exactly what I am looking for.
