Description Rick Wagner 2005-06-23 18:56:56 UTC
Version: 1.4 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

After upgrading from 1.3.5 to 1.4, the cell format of dd-Mon-yyy (i.e. 23-Jun-2005) disappeared. I have a sheet that used that format, but when I opened in in kspread, the formatting had changed to (I think) 2005-06-23. There is no longer a 23-Jun-2005 format listed.

Please, attach a small sample file.

Currently KSpread doesn't have this date format (trunk r876221). I don't know if this should still be treated as a bug/regression as it probably hasn't had it for 3 years now. I think this one should either be closed or made a wish "Provide dd-mmm-yyyy date formatting".

Andrew,

I am not currently using Calligra Sheets. However, a quick look still shows the formatting as not an option. I do note that there is a (grayed out) "Custom Format" option, which may allow for this formatting.

Since I am no longer using this feature, and there appear to be no other requests, this could probably be closed as not interested.
