Description Beat Wolf 2005-06-23 15:38:23 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

If i search a file in konqueror (lets say c source file) with a certaion keyword in it, i would like to open it with kwrite and that it directly jumps to the line where my keyword has been found.
And alternative would also be to color the keyword(s) in the file or do both.
Comment 1 FiNeX 2009-12-05 17:21:12 UTC
It should be an option of the text editor which should allow an opening paramenter to jump to a specific line... or not?
Comment 2 Beat Wolf 2009-12-06 11:59:15 UTC
yes that would probably do it. Having another parameter that would color all words matching that parameter would also do it
Comment 3 FiNeX 2009-12-06 13:34:23 UTC
@Beat Wolf: do you suggest to move to kwrite or kate?
Comment 4 Beat Wolf 2009-12-06 13:39:19 UTC
yes. absolutely. don't know why i submitted that against konqueror anyway.
