I have two ideas how it could be made.
a) in the message Window, like ICQ does
b) New option if you right click a contact it would show you "Display away message" it opens a new window, so you could click links or whatsoever.
Comment 4 Piotr Budny 2009-07-22 14:43:17 UTC
Or show that status in
c) history
d) statistics
e) contact info

Hi,

in GMail/GTalk it appears in the conversation window when you open it, but not
as a message. It is just under the contact name/info.
Try it, it is the more simple way to get it :)

Thanks,
Mickaël

Hi, I've got few ideas:
add support link in status to kopete bookmarks
add folow link(s) to contact's menu
show links as links in status (underlined), and do not show emoticons in links (e.g. :/ in http:// )

Kopete 3.x is unmantained. Marking this bug as duplicate of the KDE 4.x equivalent.
