Description ltskinol 2005-06-15 08:26:22 UTC
Version: 0.7.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.5-20050130
OS: Linux

1. Create new album.
2. File->Import->Import Folders (/tmp/mypics, where mypics contains 001 and 002 subdirectories with images).
3. mkdir /tmp/mypics/003, and copy some images there.
4. Restart Digikam.

Desired behaviour: Digikam imports the 003 subdirectory, and re-scans all of the original directories for changes (added or deleted files).

Right now I use Digikam as a nice viewer for a collection of pictures. I'd like to be able to add to the collection and have Digikam track these changes.

There can only be one albumpath, which you can change in the settings. If you change the albumpath to /tmp all should work as expected, but I don't know where it points to now, the images at the current location will not be shown then of course.

I'll close it as a duplicate bug report against a bug report which requests multiple albumpaths as well.
