Description er 2005-06-07 15:34:18 UTC
Version:           3.4.0 (using KDE 3.4.89 (>= 20050508), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-24.11-default

There is no 'clear' function to remove form completion data.
This feature is especially needed if the user accidentially wrote a password into the login field. Currently, there is no intuitive way to remove the password from the completion list.

Right-click in a field, Clear History?

'clear history' works indeed. but it's either one keeps everything / or she removes everything.
what would be nice is a way to remove (only) one entry at a time.

in firefox, you can achieve this by:
 - go in a text field
 - press 'down' key to show choices
 - move to (un)wanted entry
 - press shift+delete
==> saved entry is gone!

this is really useful - and it would be nice if konqueror could get this feature.

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
