Version: 0.9.1 (using KDE 3.4.1-1.0.fc3.kde, Fedora) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 20050227 (Red Hat 3.4.3-22.fc3) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.6 with "view->charset->automatic" selected, kontact does not select the appropriate charset even if it's specified in the header of the news article --- in the message below it clearly says "charset=ISO-8859-1" yet kontact displays the subject line with two squares in place of the o umlaut. switching manually to 8859-1 via view->charset fixes it. annoying.
