Just because the event happens yearly (and so there are 38 events up to now), doesn't mean each of these occurences takes up extra memory. Reinhold

It doesn't occupy extra memory nor extra disk space. If you really want this you can "Dissociate Future Occurrences" and then delete the first one.
It's a false problem, as indicated by comment #1, no feedback from user and it's already possible through dissociation. Closing.
