In the past few days kopete doesn't log into to ms messenger anymore. I checked that my MS Messenger account was still active by going to www.passport.net, and asked to change my password. I deleted the account in kopete, re-created it using the new password. Each time I try to connect kopete tells me that the password is incorrect and asks me for the passowrd manually, which I enter. It continues to reject the connection. I have been back to the passport site and checked again that the username and password let me in. The original sign on credentials had been saved by the wallet program. I can't think what else to do. I have checked my keyboard for num lock and caps lock. Both are not set. Any ideas?
