Description Marcel Grüger 2005-05-25 15:03:44 UTC
Version: 1.6.2 (using KDE 3.2.1, SuSE)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.151-default

I configured my smtp and still i am not able to send messages through kmail. I think its a problem of my own, but I only get the message: "Wartende Nachrichten konnten nicht (alle) versandt werden..." in English it would mean something like: "waiting message couldnt (all) been send..."

Why dont I get an error message like: "Your SMTP-Server doesn't support smtp-authentification" or "you have to log in via... first" or something like that, so I can see what I am doing wrong."

thanks

Please check the latest KMail 1.8.x and report back if you still see room for improvements. If you think the issue is solved, please close the report.
