I read a lot of newsgroups in various hierarchies -- some regularly, and some only sporadically.  Thus my list of subscribed newsgroups in KNode is very long and I am constantly scrolling up and down in the newsgroup pane.

It would be nice if the subscribed newsgroups pane had a tree view, as in the Subscribe to Newsgroups dialog.  That way I could, say, collapse the entire comp.* hierarchy for those times when I'm not actively monitoring any comp.* groups.

This request is similar in nature to Bug 20303 but is probably much easier to code, since it doesn't rely on any arbitrary assignment of groups to folders.
