Description Gioele Barabucci 2005-05-24 15:34:13 UTC
Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 3.4.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3-20050110 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3.20050110-r1, ssp-3.4.3.20050110-0, pie-8.7.7)
OS: Linux (ppc) release 2.6.11-gentoo-r6

I noticed that the location bar does not preserve japanese chars.

On the left of http://ja.wikipedia.org main page you will find the おまかせ表示 (random page) link.

When I click it, the location bar shows http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/特別:Randompage for a little time, then it changes to (for example) "http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/ã¢ã¾ã¬ã¹è«¸å³¶", the page associated with アゾレス諸島.
That url should look like this: "http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/アゾレス諸島".

For the same page firefox shows "http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%A2%E3%82%BE%E3%83%AC%E3%82%B9%E8%AB%B8%E5%B3%B6"
in the location bar.

We don't support IRI correctly yet.
