Description Christopher Bräuer 2005-05-23 16:28:31 UTC
Version: 0.7.2 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-20a-default

Since I upgraded my system from SuSE 9.1 to 9.3, I am experiencing problems with digikam:
It does not find my camera anymore. I have a Canon Powershot A80 which worked perfectly before.
What happens is:
- in konqueror, when I plug in the camera into the usb port, the camera is detected, but when I try to access it, nothing happens
- in digikam it says, that it could not find a camera at all, the same when I do "gphoto2 --auto-detect"
When I use my card-reader with the CF-Card, it works.
I tested it as root and normal user, but no success.

contact gphoto2 project for further support. if it doesn't work with gphoto2 it won't work with digikam either
