Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Often sending e-mails with quite large attachments, I would like to suggest a new feature for KMail: Deletion of attachments of already sent e-mails. I would like to see this feature, because it would save a lot of disk and backup media space. Usually, the attachments sent are already saved on my harddisks and are backed up. However, some of them were sent several times to various recipients, thus wasting valueable backup space. Because I neither want to remove my Mail folders from backup nor delete messages with large attachments, I would like to suggest this feature. It would be great if I could easily remove these attachments, leaving just a note like "[file name] has formerly been attached to this e-mail. It has been deleted on [date/time]."
