Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Compiler: both gcc 3.3.x and gcc 3.4.x OS: Linux The appended short html file demonstrates the bug: The page contents doesn't fill the whole konqueror frame in most cases and if you enable the background color changer, only the covered part changes background color on a regular basis. Only if a redraw is triggered externally (for example by a window removed from on top of konqueror), the affected region is updated to the current background color.

Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.
