Version: 1.7.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-3) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11wheee How to reproduce: 1. Have a message in your "sent messages" box, containing the word "Jens-Ådne" in the message text 2. Search for all messages in "sent messages", containing "Ådne". This yields 0 results. 3. Search for all messages in "sent messages", containing "Jens". This yields 1 result. Expected behaviour is that words with æøå or ÆØÅ is also searchable.
I have also experienced this bug: searching for the word "Veröffentlichung" yields 0 results searching for "ffentlichung" gives 70 matches containing "Veröffentlichung" My configuration: KDE-3.4.2 (Gentoo Linux) searching on online IMAP account with courier server and TLS encryption
Interstring. Testing with KDE 4.3.0 searching for umlaut a (ä) worked. Searching for Å did not ... strange
